Cheryl's ancestors arrive in Canada from Lithuania at the turn of the 20th Century, make new lives in Halifax and Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. The story moves on to Saint John. New Brunswick, and from there to Montreal for Cheryl and to New Orleans, Louisiana for her sister June and to Israel for her brother Jon. From there it continues into the future.
