Andrea Fieldman was born in 1939 and grew up in Montreal’s Lakeshore area, where life was marked by ten-party phone lines and the occasional run-in with antisemitism. A member of Temple Emanu-El Beth Sholom (Canada’s oldest Reform synagogue) since childhood, Andrea has been teaching at Temple’s supplementary Torah School for over four decades.
