In this clip ninety-eight year old Henry Samel recounts both his and his siblings incredible stories of endurance and survival during the Second World War. Following this he discusses his immigration to Montreal and his love for his traditional grandfathers. This oral history interview was conducted by Melina Rubineau and Lea Benchimol as part of an inter-generational oral history project at Temple Emanu-el Beth Sholom, supported by a New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP) grant.
